We have many major and minor chakras we focus on our 7 main chakras. These are the energy centres in our body.
The Lower Chakras
Now the three lower chakras, the root sacral and solar plexus all relate to our physical everyday world as does the heart chakra. Although it also acts as the connection to the upper spiritual chakras.
These chakras run in a line up and down our spine. When we look at the properties of each chakra it makes sense that we always start with the root chakra ensuring our foundations are solid. Next work upwards from there. Each chakra has a different vibration which becomes finer as your go upwards. Make sure that all energy flows well. This is an excellent routine to develop for cleansing and balancing each chakra. But…
Each chakra emits it’s own vibration that bumps up against other energy in our surroundings.
So…
Take your chakra practice from simple cleansing to something even more purposeful. I see these four lower chakras as mindset energy.
This doesn’t mean that you stop cleansing and balancing all 7 main chakras. It means that you pay more attention and intention to the lower chakra mindset that resonates most for you.
In my experience your chakra mindset becomes your check-in point that tells you how well you feel balanced or stressed because here is where you identify most with some personal traits.
Here’s what I mean…
The root chakra influences how we feel in terms of safety and security in our own environment. It is our first experience as being a member of a family or core group. It’s connected to income, security, sense of belonging, stability, trust in yourself or others. It’s low side can have you feeling off kilter, fearful, anxious, jittery, a worrier.
The mindset I see here is the Organiser who shows up consistently committed to what you do. People trust and lean on you. People see you as practical and reliable with the natural ability to sort and organise the small details that support life and work.
But your biggest challenge is uncertainty. You rely on solid foundations and when you don’t see them you become jittery. You may be inclined to feel excessively responsible, over plan, and exhaust yourself.
Now you can take this worrier trait into all sorts of situations and I bet you do. You get yourself stuck in a loop of worrying about all sorts of details you think you’ve missed.
So once you’ve taken a minute to ground your breath let’s switch your focus to what you can trust in this situation so you can stabilise yourself and assess your next steps.
Once you’ve calmed your root chakra you can assess what’s happening in the other lower chakras.
On the other hand …..
The solar plexus is where our strong sense of self is stored. It is connected to the opinions and beliefs we have about ourselves and the world we live in.
On it’s low side is self doubt, feeling not enough, lacking skills and a sense of accomplishment.
The mindset I see here is the Mentor who shows up with a logical thinking and planning. This gives people confidence in your ability to steer them through decision processes. People see you as a natural problem solver. You’re able to assess a topic from various perspectives in the best way needed for the situation.
But your biggest challenge is perfectionism. You rely on personal power and when you don’t feel it you question yourself. You may be inclined to doubt yourself, overthink what you should do and deplete yourself.
So once you’ve taken a minute to ground your breath let’s switch your focus to what you can be confident of in this situation so you can assert yourself and assess your next steps.
Once you’ve calmed your solar plexus chakra you can assess what’s happening in the other lower chakras.
As you can see….
Each of these mindset energies stand out with different traits and challenges. This gives them different points to start from to bounce back from stress.
